What is it?
The new Dermapen 4 is the most advance skincare treatment aimed at improving appearance, texture, and overall quality of the skin by boosting collagen and elastin production using a micro needling pen. How Does it Work?
The skin has a self-rejuvenating function that is capable of significantly reducing blemishes caused by acne, trauma, pigmentation and a range of other ailments. Micro-needling activates this process by causing tiny punctures across the treated area. As your skin heals, it produces collagen which forms a new layer of fresh tissue, creating a more youthful appearance on the surface and fighting antibodies beneath.
How Many Treatments Are Needed?
Patients are advised that 2-4 treatments may be necessary. The number of needling sessions depends on the individual skin condition. An interval of 4 to 6 weeks between treatments is typically recommended. Many practitioners are also doing maintenance treatments at intervals of 6 to 12 months.
